Mile After Mile

Just last week I released the cover to my upcoming EP, Mile After Mile. So, in honor of that, I figured I'd share a little behind where this all came from.

We’ve all been through challenges. We’re all acquainted with pain. Through a challenging season of my life, I cried out to God through music. I stood on the promises in His Word and formed them into prayers that I prayed over and over again.

Those prayers became these songs.

During that time, Psalm 23:4 spoke to me more than any other scripture. It says “Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me.” That verse became my anthem and, ultimately, the inspiration for this music I've been working on, Mile After Mile. Because I know everyone can relate, I wanted to share these songs with people.

I created a Kickstarter campaign and, wouldn't you know it... I received MORE than the funding I needed to complete this EP. I can't thank those 60 people who pledged toward my Kickstarter enough... they are the ones that made this dream a reality.

I can't wait to share these songs with all of you. Each one is truly from the depth of my heart and soul.

I've learned that this life is a constant journey. Some parts are spent in the mountains, the high points of life; but others are spent in the darkest valley. No matter where you’re at on your journey, find comfort in knowing God is with you... mile after mile.
